New Investments will help stabilize home care
Home Care Ontario, frontline staff and patients across Ontario want to thank the Ontario government and everyone who sent a letter to their MPP as part of our campaign to bring care home. The Ontario government listened. The province's 2023-24 Budget included a commitment to fast-track $569 million to stabilize the home care system.
This historic funding will help home care providers deliver more critical health care and services to Ontarians, in the comfort of their homes.
While there is still more work to do to build a home care system that can meet the needs and expectations of Ontario families, this year's Budget shows we are off to a strong start.
